About the Film
Inspired by a true story, Flip, is a multiple award-winning feature length screenplay inspired by a story shared with our writer/director, Emily Skyle, by an elderly inmate serving a life sentence at the maximum security prison she used to volunteer at.
Flip follows the story of Marcus, a young pigeon racer from Compton who risks everything to save his new foster family when they’re threatened by a gang from his troubled past.
